We prefer the term 'predator foolhardy' to stupid

Cicada Cycle Fascinates U.S. Yeah! You bet I'm fascinated! I mean, a few of these dudes emerge every year, but I remember the last big explosion of them, when I was a kid in Louisiana. It WAS fascinating! It was, as one recent scientist put it, like having a yard "covered in chicken nuggets." The dogs and birds were going nuts, eating them, throwing them in the air...it was like Mardi Gras out there.

I can't WAIT for this batch to hatch! Any day now!
