Today, I will discuss DVDs

Okay. I'm coming around from all the awfulness that befell my home state. Instead of talking about that depressing stuff, I will discuss my new treasured possession:

The Lost Season 1 Box Set.

Squee! I waited and waited for it. Gotta see those episodes that I missed. Are any of you obsessed with this show?

I need to rent those. I feel so culturally inferior when I can't follow Lost conversation.

We love Lost, but when you watch it you can't blink or you'll miss something, and you have to listen to and remember everything being said because it'll come into play later. And you have to make notes of all the stuff you see because they could be clues, too.

I would love to watch the DVDs because you can stop any scenes you need to take a look at again.

The DVDs are expensive--about $50 for the box set. But there are 24 episodes in it, so I guess it evens out. This is the first time I have ever bought a video or DVD of a television show. That's how serious I am about it all!

My husband missed a couple episodes and then gave up, so he needs to get his hands on it somehow. ;)

I hate getting involved with a lot of shows during the season but I do anyway.

For some shows, like 24, I'll watch a few episodes during the year but I like to wait and watch them on DVD because I get obsessed with "What happens next?" and will get up in the middle of the night to watch "just one more" episode.
