So here is the new blog. It's a little boogered up because it's actually two blogs frankensteined together.

Last night Tom and I took a blue Dickies one-piece old-man-style jumpsuit (remember that one, Ra?) and stuffed it full of old plastic shopping bags to make a Halloween scarecrow. Then we put a flannel shirt on him (which I think is yours, Liz), a pair of my blue jeans from about 1996, and we put Tom's galoshes on him too. He needed a head, so I wrapped a balloon in an old white shirt I was going to give to goodwill and then drew a face on it. We then taped his head to his body, and affixed a hat.

Then we propped him up outside our front door on a lawn chair, and put a bunch of mardi gras beads around his neck and an empty bottle of booze by his hand. He's scary, but he may not be the kind of scary that kids find entertaining. Maybe later I'll take a picture of him and post it up here...
