HELLO!
I am in a good mood because I took my stupid comprehensive exams and they went fine. What was I worried about? I feel really good about the test but look, I bet just because I am typing down the fact that I feel confident it will turn out that I really loused it up. Ha!
Right after the test Tom and I jumped in the car and drove to OKC to meet a few last greyhounds. We have been meeting them all month, looking for the perfect greyhound child to live with me and Tom and Deoji. We had pretty much decided on Stephanie, an older gal, but she has some serious competition now that we've met Stetson. He is so wonderful, sweet, and huggy. He even hugged Deoji! Tom really fell for him, and I think Stephanie may have been pushed from the competition. She is so sedate, and she may love being our pet...but I know that Stetson would fit right in immediately. I don't know...we'll see. Still have two weeks to decide, after all. I can't wait to move into the new place and get the new greyhound pooper-dog lovebug!
BTW, we sleep on the floor in the den now because Deoji's arthritis won't let him go up and down the stairs anymore (which is why we're moving). A few minutes ago, he got up off of his bed, had a biiiiiiiiiiig stretch (which looked suspiciously over-casual) and sneakily laid down on my bed-on-the-floor. It was so cute I just let him do it. I think I am probably breeding bad habits here, but oh well.
