Hot Chickens in the City (dum dum de-dum) Acting Wild and Looking Pretty
Went to that court date. The courthouse is undergoing rennovation, so court met in what seems to be a gymnasium of sorts. I had to wait through all sorts of people before me. I was sitting up front so I could hear everything. One fellow was in court for his third chickens-in-the-city-limits ticket. Seems this fellow just doesn't want to get rid of his chickens because he loves them. He drove them out to his uncles house in the country, but three of the five chickens found their way back to him and he didn't have the heart to send them back. Homing chickens. Another lady had a Dog At Large ticket which she requested a trial about. She wanted to know if she could bring the dog to court and the judge said no.

I pled no contest to speeding in a school zone and have to pay the fine and do 15 hours of community service in order to keep the ticket off my record. Hmm. I'll keep you posted.
