Waxing as good a rush as piercing

I had the most bizarre experience last night. I have been professionally waxed a few times, just legs and bikini, but last night I did it myself with pre-waxed strips.
I've tried waxing with the pot of wax where you spread it on yourself...I can't ever get any success with that. But these pre-waxed strips.... Boy.

I waxed my legs and waxed my own bikiniline down to just a tuft. Not necessarily because I like tiny tufts, but because it was so much fun. It was a very tough-girl experience. I must say it was almost as good...maybe better...than a piercing, and I've had a few. Just something about the fact that you're ripping your OWN hair out...Marvelous. I know that sounds quirky.
