G'Morning, Jace
Had a dream about you this morning, sometime between Tom's alarm and mine. It was such a nice dream. Somebody's family had a camp house at Tunica Hills and a bunch of us were staying there. Only my old cast of friends, nobody new.

There was a dirt rollerblade trail (I know, huh? But it was a dream after all) and we all had on our off-road blades on, whizzing through the trees, through the motionless shade that is swamp Louisiana. Sometimes me and someone else would stop and look at something, or take a rest. And one time, a cop car came through the underbrush and scared us! You were a good rollerblader in my dream, and moved more like you were skiing than skating. I remembered your time in Pennsylvania and presumed you must've snow skiied a bit. You were so handsome, just like you always were. Best looking guy in the room. I was always proud to have you next to me because other girls were so envious of a good-looking guy who was funny and charming. You had IT Jason. You had the Magic IT. In the dream, I thought about Slim-Fast and smiled.

When we arrived back at the camp house I saw Brandy G. at the top of the stairs and she was so thin. Just as pretty as always but thinner and crying. I ran up the stairs to her, as fast as I could in my rollerblades and told her how happy I was to see her and how much I love her and miss her. She said she heard about Brian D's suicide. She said she always thought it would be Jason to kill himself. And I said, "No! No, he's safe. He's right there..." But you weren't behind me anymore. Nowhere to be found. Then I woke up.

Tom said, "Did you have a bad dream?" And I said "No," even though I was crying. Any chance to see you again Jace, is not a bad thing.
