Neglecting Blogland
Yeah, I've been neglecting. I'm completely obsessed with the Britney messageboard over on Fametracker.com. That's where I've been. Sigh. Ah, for summertime to continue forever...
Before and After shots: well, frankly, I'm embarrassed about the Befores. I mean, I was embarrassed about my lack of chestiness for my whole life and so of course I'm embarrassed about showing a bunch of pictures of it. That's going to take a little more working up to. They'll be posted, eventually. Maybe next week. The Afters look fine, except they're still changing shape a little (becoming less boob-jobby and more inconspicuous) so maybe it's good if I wait another week or so on those too. I don't know. It's one thing to babble on about the size of your chest, but quite another to post pictures of it all over the net. I'm sure you understand.
In other news, I'm restless. As I told a friend the other day, if I had to do it over again, I think I'd be an entomologist, maybe. Wouldn't that be cool? To study bugs all day? But I'd be afraid that somewhere along the line in that biology degree, I'd have to hurt/dissect/do something to an animal that I'd feel bad about. I don't feel too bad when I kill a bug, because my friend Kelly was an entomology grad student (this was years ago, I guess she's doctor so-n-so now) and she told me that because most bugs have no brain, but only a brain stem/neural cord dealie, they function more like robots than what we commonly think of as animals. For example, you can rip a wasp's head off, and the body will continue to live and try to go about it's business until it starves to death--because it's mouth is missing. If that kind of creature has a consiousness (which it most likely does), then it's a consiousness so different from that of animals with brains that I cannot concieve of it at all. I'd love to study this stuff! But if I was put in a situation where I had to hurt an animal that has a consciousness like mine--well, I just couldn't do it, even for the sake of knowledge.
Waaaaall, so there's that. I'll try to rip myself away from the Britney boards more often! Right now I'm hooked, but surely it'll get old soon...
Oh yeah, and, just to get this out there, if I seem like I'm really WAAAAAAAY a John Edwards supporter when I comment on anyone's blogs, it's because he's a part of my family on my mom's side and a nice guy.
