Ahoy, friends!

I left two comments today on the blogs of good friends, telling them that I am alive and asking them to come visit my blog. I hope they do! Because if they do they'll accomplish all sorts of things for me! They'll make me happy! They'll find out I'm pregnant! They'll encourage me to blog more! They'll (hopefully) see that after a long hibernation, I finally have something to talk about that doesn't suck!

Which is the BAY-BEE, of course!

Yes, I intend to be the pregnant lady who goes on and on about it! But I don't want to do that at work, because those people can't just turn and walk away while I'm mid sentence. But you guys? If you couldn't care less what I'm saying, all you have to do is click, click away from my rambling and I will never be the wiser.

The doc says I'm 10 wks 4 days (as you can see from the counter) but I think the doc is wrong. According to my (ahem) calculations, I am more like 12 wks. I know that conception doesn't have to happen immediately--that it can happend for up to two-three days later, but come on. A two week difference? Someone is counting wrong.

My mom says they do that so that you will expect the baby and it will come early. Because when you expect it and it comes late? You want to throw up and scream at the same time. She knows this because I was late, apparently.

My dentist says the docs don't know diddley about predicting the due date and that they will change it ten times throughout the pregnancy. That is apparently what they did to his wife. Yes. I spoke to my dentist about this.

YAY PREGGERS! And not sick at all or depressed at all this time. I am, however, very sleepy.
