Let's try it again, shall we?

I will copy Limon and also write about Syllabussing.

I syllabussed today, too! My Tech Writing class needed an overhaul.

Frankly, I find that 90 seconds per assignment per student is just far too much of my time. I don't want to *read* any of their junk; I just want to peruse it for formatting while watching "So You Think You Can Dance". So I set about reworking the class again to try to achieve my goal. Every time I rework the assignments I get closer to Eden, you might say. And I don't feel bad about it one bit. This school doesn't pay me enough to have a conscience that deep. Throw another fiver on the fire and then I'll up my grading time to 180 seconds per kid.

When I taught TW earlier in the summer, I did myself a favor. I meticulously documented everything I said in class that day as soon as I got home. I also wrote down how long it took me to say it all. This incredibly sensible thing that all of us should do, but probably only Shelley has ever done, is going to make my semester cake this time around!

That's all that's going on with me so far this week. You know, you say to yourself that you'll get so much done, but really, all you do is sit in your pajamas and play Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (part 3 sucks; they 'improved' it into frustrating junk).
