bluh, part deux
Tom's gma's funeral went fine. No dramatic scenes such as that opening the movie Mouse Hunt. Tom's almost-sister-in-law has a tumor on her heart and will undergo open-heart surgery soon. The tumor is generating little blood clots which are giving her little strokes, or as in the case of last week, big strokes. Ugh. She'll be fine, though. If old geezers can survive that surgery, so can Kelly.
Scott recently posted a blog about people's taste in music and what that may say about them. Well, in that case, this may or may not be interesting: my favorite band is Cocteau Twins. I have most of the albums, including some foreign releases, and I know what Elizabeth is or is not singing in most of those songs. Tonight I am trying to download a few songs I don't have and getting impatient!!
I am also extremely lonely. My doggies are at boarding and my boy stayed with his family to clear up a few things with his grandmother, etc. I am SO ALONE. Alone alone alone. I hate this. Tomorrow, aforementioned Scott will help me get the dogs from boarding; you see, they are too heavy for me to pick up, and too old and rickety to get in and out of the car by themselves. I hope Scott knew that Shelley signed him up for this duty... Well, tomorrow will tell. =:)
