My Birthday
First of all, condolences to Shelley regarding the unexpected death of her father. There's absolutely nothing I can do to make her feel any better about any of that, so instead I will just say some happy, unrelated stuff. Albeit quickly, before I am booted from the puter by my stupid dialup connection.

Today was my birthday. I am 28 and I celebrated the day by getting a haircut and eating cake for dinner. Many of you will say, "But T, you often have cake for dinner!" to which I reply, "True, but it is not often a german chocolate cake purchased especially for my birthday."

I went and got a sorta grownup haircut today. No more long straight hair for me! As you know, Calista Flockhart is no longer my hair model and Jennie Garth just didn't seem to be working out for me this time, so I struck out on my own. And do you know what? When my haircut was through, a lady in the salon said, "You hair looks like Marisa Tomei's!" and I thought, "Wow! Okay, so Marisa Tomei is my new hair model." What do you think?
