Nanowrimo is Hard; Yarn Dogs.
Yeah, it is. I only needed to write about 1700 words last night to be on track, and I only got 900 something. Of course, I did have other things to worry about. I had the Yarn Dogs to worry about.
You see, tonight in my class I am going to teach the group how to make a toy dog out of yarn. Several of them will make the yarn dogs along with me, therefore becoming SMEs. They must then write sets of instructions based on the demonstration. Pretty hilarious, huh?
Yeah, except I'm nervous as all get out about it. I have made several of these yarn dogs, and they're not cute. They just look like big blobs of yarn. I'm afraid my students will resent the project because the dogs are not pretty. In actuality, they probably won't mind (right?) but I still feel nervous.

Your students will love them. I'm having mine do software tutorials tomorrow; I'm sure they'd much prefer yarn dogs.

You should have your students make you a sandwich.
