Glamour
Yesterday was pretty uneventful, aside from the fact that I decided to go with not just a tiara, but a full 4-inch crown and jewel-encrusted sceptre. After all, tiaras are rather casual and weddings are formal events. Might as well wear something glamourous, right?
Today I was originally going to spend the day looking for shoes to go with my dress. It's been rough; I looked around in Tulsa earlier in the week and found nothing good. I guess there's just not that much of a demand for close-toed white shoes. The bridal shops seem to be carrying open-toed, sandalish shoes, which is okay for the bridesmaid because she can wear those with no hose and just get away with just a pedicure instead. But the bride should wear hose; and wearing hose with open-toed shoes is not acceptable to girls from my generation and older...although you see younger girls do it all the time. I think that's tacky. Way WAY tacky.
So I was actually pondering an alternative to shoes.
