NaNoWriMo Wordcount

As of 8:30 pm on today, Thursday, I have 1907 words. That is not very many. That is six double-spaced pages. I mean, I had to work all freaking day yesterday, from 1 to 8:30, so that kind of gobbled up my writing time. But still...I only got 3 pages written on Monday, and 3 so far today. That is too slow. There is no way I will have 175 pages 27 days from now at this rate. I will have to work harder.

I will HAVE to kill that inner editor who is trying to make me go back and rewrite. I know Chris is struggling with that too. I have tried all the tricks and tips that I know for killing the inner editor and none of them work for me. For some stupid reason, I, like, want my novel to be REALLY GOOD. Yeah, like that is going to happen. And I know that that's not even the point of Nanowrimo; the point is just to finish to prove to yourself that you can.

I know that these writhings are probably very normal for someone taking on such a task, but good grief! I am supposed to be superwoman, right? Where is my motivation?

In other news, my yarn dogs went over like gangbusters. Everybody loved them. I don't know why I was so worried!
